VITALIS Longevity Center: research, community, and future in long-lived societies
Abstract
Population aging is one of the most significant processes of the 21st century. In Latin America, this demographic transition has occurred at an unprecedented rate: in less than five decades, we have gone from predominantly young societies to contexts where the proportion of older people is growing steadily.
