Evidence with human face
Abstract
The cover of this edition proposes a dialogue between science and humanity, evidenced by a magnifying glass focusing on the word “EVIDENCE” on an open book, accompanied by a microscope, test tubes, and a stethoscope, while the faces of patients and healthcare teams converge. The caduceus, the Hippocratic lamp, and the letter psi allude to the fields of medicine, nursing, and psychology, which share a common horizon: without clinical practice, evidence does not come to fruition; without nursing knowledge, the patient experience is diluted; and without psychology, data loses its meaning.
