Comunicación por luz visible mediante el flash de las cámaras de los teléfonos inteligentes para aplicaciones de control de acceso
Resumen
La seguridad informática está explorando nuevos campos, y la comunicación a corta distancia mediante luz es uno de ellos debido a sus ventajas sobre los medios tradicionales que utilizan radiofrecuencia. Algunas de sus ventajas son que no lee desde una distancia cercana, solo funciona cuando el usuario lo requiere y es una comunicación de corto alcance ideal para aplicaciones de seguridad y control de acceso. Este artículo presenta el desarrollo de un prototipo de control de acceso con teléfonos inteligentes que utiliza comunicación por luz. Se evaluaron diversos sensores y velocidades de respuesta del flash con pruebas físicas en varios teléfonos móviles; se obtuvo la misma frecuencia mínima de respuesta de 60 Hz para diferentes dispositivos y, dependiendo del dispositivo, se obtuvo una respuesta máxima de 140 Hz. Con esta información, se desarrolló una aplicación en la plataforma Flutter para enviar tramas de datos que implementan protocolos como el infrarrojo, en el que la señal se codifica con la modulación por ancho de pulso de la cámara flash. Utilizando un sistema integrado conocido como ESP8266 WeMos D1 Mini, se pudieron enviar, recibir, sincronizar y verificar bytes de datos desde el teléfono móvil a una frecuencia de modulación de 30 Hz por bit.
