The miracle of still being alive
Abstract
Perhaps the oldest question humanity has ever asked is not “Where do we come from?” or “Where are we going?”, but a more intimate and urgent one: “Why do I remain?” The answer is not to be found in books or doctrines, but in the everyday gesture of someone reaching out to another who is suffering, and in the choice to care when the world celebrates indifference.
