About the Journal

Aims and scope

The Revista Colombiana de Computación ISSN: 1657-2831 (Print) 2539-2115 (Online), is a biannual publication that accepts original and unpublished research articles in Computing. The articles can be conceptual, applied or state of the art.

Objective

Publish results derived from Research Projects, carried out by researchers, professors and undergraduate, masters and doctoral students, in subjects related to Computing.

Periodicity

The Revista Colombiana de Computación is a biannual publication that presents its Editions in the months of June and December (first day of the month): (i) First number: January - June; and (ii) Second number: July - December.

Open access policy

The Revista Colombiana de Computación is funded by the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga and operates under a Diamond Open Access model. Therefore, the journal does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, processing, or publication. No Article Processing Charges (APCs) or submission fees are required.

The journal provides immediate and unrestricted access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public fosters a greater global exchange of knowledge, increases the visibility of scientific production, and contributes to the advancement of science and technology.

All published articles are freely available to read, download, and share without financial barriers or access restrictions.
